Laura Manston

Statement to voters

Laura is standing for election to Kent County Council for Sevenoaks Rural North East (Ash, Fawkham, Hartley, Hodsoll Street, New Ash Green, Ridley and West Kingsdown). Laura is already a Sevenoaks District Councillor for Ash & New Ash Green, lives in our community and knows the area well. Laura works hard for our community all year round, supporting residents, representing us at council meetings, and keeping us informed. She also supports local campaigns such as protecting the green belt from inappropriate development (eg. the solar farm at Ridley), calling for investment and improvements in the area (eg. New Ash Green shopping centre) and raising the need for better infrastructure with relevant bodies (eg. better buses and healthcare). At KCC, Laura will represent our community on matters like roads, education and transport in her usual collaborative, inclusive and transparent style. As a strong, independant voice, she will speak out on issues that matter to us and hold others to account.
