Statement to voters

I am currently a Blaby District councillor where I am known as an energetic outspoken and diligent councillor. Now, I want to bring my ‘getting the job done’ energy, enthusiasm and determination to all the communities of South Leicestershire I was born and raised in South Leicestershire. My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic. After completing my Business and Finance degree at De Montfort University, whilst an apprentice in the ‘90s working for Premier Percussion, based in South Wigston, eventually becoming their became their Operations Director. Since 2008, I’ve run my own business providing Business Consultancy and IT Support for many large manufacturing companies its HQ is in the constituency and I employ local staff. I live with my wife and two teenage children in Blaby my children attended local schools. I have a passion for problem solving and am renowned for speaking my mind and not being afraid to make our voice heard. I am also involved with organising the Glastonblaby charity music festival, a local charity combating social isolation and litter picking with the South Leicestershire Litter wombles.
