Statement to voters
I am looking forward to standing again in the General Election, this time for a slightly changed constituency - Grantham and Bourne. I have lived in Grantham for over 20 years and my children went to school here. I am a volunteer with Rivercare and have also volunteered for the U3A and the local theatre. I have worked with senior ministers, including in the House of Commons, on a range of policies and legislation. I set up and ran the government's climate change programme (now defunct) in the East Midlands, and coordinated it nationally. I am proud to be standing on policies that offer a sensible and practical alternative to tackle local and national issues such as the cost of living, the housing crisis, underfunded and run-down public services and the terrible state of our rivers.
