Statement to voters

Dear Friends, Neighbours, and Fellow Residents, It is with great enthusiasm and a profound sense of duty that I announce my candidacy for the upcoming general election as an Independent in the Christchurch and East Dorset Constituency. My name is Simon McCormack, and I am committed to bringing a fresh, unbiased perspective to our political landscape. For too long, our community has been divided by partisan politics, leaving many voices unheard and many needs unmet. I am running as an Independent to break free from the constraints of party agendas and to represent every member of our community equally and fairly. As a lifelong resident of this community, I have seen first-hand the challenges we face and the strengths we possess. As a twice elected Town and BCP Councillor and being born, raised and educated in Christchurch I feel this has equipped me with the skills and experience needed to address our towns challenges effectively. I have a proven track record of delivering, representing and communicating with my fellow residents, demonstrating my commitment to positive change.
