Statement to voters

I have lived in Berrylands with my family ( wife and two children) for over 10 years. I developed an interest in local politics as Chair of the Berrylands Scout Group. Along with volunteers and other parents I fought a successful campaign against Conservative rental increases and other unfair surcharges imposed on our local Scout group. Supported by 750 residents we secured a new 25 year lease and lower rent for the Scout Group. The same terms have now been extended to all Community Groups in Kingston. I was instrumental in launching the Berrylands Festival in 2016 which is now the biggest community event in our ward by far. Away from politics I run a business consultancy and am a member of the Surbiton Running Club.
