Statement to voters
Carol Birch has quietly changed the face of local politics in Arun. Her calm, determined approach helped elect the first ever Green councillors to Arun District Council in 2019 and she’s done it again in two by-elections since. A social housing specialist and wildlife gardener, Carol brings the same thoroughness to everything she does: fighting for people who need a home, and protecting the natural spaces that make this area worth living in. She’s one of the people who built the local Green Party into what it is today!
