Statement to voters

I am delighted to once again stand in the local elections as a Green party candidate for the Haddenham and Stone Ward. Through the hard work of Green Party activists and a focus on this community I was able to secure a considerable majority in the 2020 Buckinghamshire elections. I sit on a number of committees and attend a range of events and forums across the county. I am committed to local communities, local business and good quality local services. I have lived and worked in Buckinghamshire for 25 years. Throughout this time I have been involved with many local projects and community schemes. I have had a successful career in Criminal Justice, Initially working in HM Prisons and Probation Service, moving to a development role within the Ministry of Justice and managing projects within victim related charities. As an environmentalist, I am deeply committed to the well-being of our community and the planet. For me, climate change requires local action to achieve global change. Addressing the climate and biodiversity crisis is a vital thread that runs through all policy areas and every aspect of our lives.
