Statement to voters

Peacenik, advocate for the compassionate treatment of all human beings and other creatures, Campaigner for environmental issues. I am deeply concerned at what I see as a rising culture of corporate fascism, including the incessant promotion of a collective war psychosis, aided by modern technology, which also serves to distract and supress dissention over domestic exploitation. I am not ashamed to own myself an "Unmodernised" OLD Labour "clause 4" democratic socialist. Among a wide range of issues, I support: radical nationalisation and preservation of a publicly owned "free at the point of need" NHS; democratisation of press and other media ownership; constitutional review (including tax reform, proportional representation and the phasing out of all forms of unelected public office, in particular the role of head of state); active governmental intervention for the transition of technologies from war to peace production. I was and remain, an admirer of Tony Benn, Bob Crow and Jeremy Corbyn to name but three recent Socialist role models.
