Statement to voters

I have a theory called the Food and Energy theory (www.foodandenergytheory.org) which I believe could be scaled up across the world. It starts off with a green revolution in the UK, (60,000 on-shore wind turbines), paid for by the government but run locally. The surplus energy is free at the margin and this energy can transform farming, in particular vertical farming. Cheaper food and energy for the consumer, (energy would be 25% of the current price), it would move the economy away from the oil and gas which is not a free market. The driving force behind the whole idea is that climate change has created havoc across the poorest countries in the world, and energy and food prices have created a cost of living crisis in the UK. The radical part of the theory is that once you have increased your productive capacity-(food and energy), then you have taken away the two main constraints on the economy, and then you can used printed money to create the right level of demand. An economy thrives upon good services and enterprise and investment, Charlie's theory allows this to happen. If adopted Charlie believes it would transform the UK economy and ultimately the world economy. He has seen practical examples of this working at a local level. After this election, he aims to travel the globe looking at countries and small communities which have transformed their economies based on these ideas.
