Statement to voters

Freedom. It’s something we take for granted but your party MP isn’t free to truly represent you. Vote independent to restore your freedom. I believe in science led, evidence based policy making in all areas especially in rural matters. Stop industrial size solar farms, prioritise animal welfare, stop Westminster’s micromanaging of rural life and encourage an holistic approach to rural management. Trust our farmers. We expect fair play. We expect a country to support its people, which is why when immigrants are housed, fed, clothed and provided for but our homeless are left on the streets we feel aggrieved. We have endless compassion for people coming to this country but not endless resources - immigrants must wait three years before claiming benefits. Remove the NHS as a political football. Ensure the future of the NHS through long term cross party planning and cooperation, only then can significant long term strategies be employed. However, I would Immediately lobby to ensure free parking at all hospitals for NHS staff. We are stewards of our land, we need to work together to ensure a future for generations to come. We need collaborative, evidence led policies that will be effective at protecting the environment not lining individuals pockets.
