Statement to voters

Adam has lived in the constituency since 2012, raising his two children through state schooling here, following in the footsteps of his in-laws who raised both their daughters here across the 80s and 90s. He believes it’s right and healthy for MPs to be part of the community they seek to serve. Adam works in management consultancy, after jobs in print, publishing and journalism led to a career in financial services. He has strategic experience of FTSE-20 and FTSE-250 organisations, understands the challenges of leading and delivering major change, and looks forward to playing his part in repairing our devastated public sector. He’s an organiser for the SDP in West Kent and currently Chairs the party’s South East region. “We’ve run a 30-year experiment in market-first government in Britain, with Tory, New Labour and Tory/LibDem flavours”, he said. “The results are in: it’s a dead-end. We will never get Britain back on its feet if we keep voting for these three parties, with their indifference to British interests. A vote for the SDP won’t change the world overnight, but it’s an honest vote. It’s time to send a clear signal about what you want, for yourself and for your children.”
