Statement to voters

I am honoured to be standing as the Reform UK candidate for Rochford North in the upcoming Essex County Council elections. I am committed to being a strong local voice and fighting for the issues that matter most to local residents — especially protecting our precious green spaces from overdevelopment. About Me I live with my 19-year-old son, our three much-loved cats, and our beloved dog, Marley. As a single parent and small business owner, I understand the pressures many local families are facing and how important it is to preserve the character, community spirit, and environment of the places we call home. Professional Background I am the proud founder and owner of a successful hospitality and catering recruitment agency. Over 22 years ago, I started my business with just £300 and no previous business experience. Through determination, resilience, and hard work, I built it into a respected and successful local company. Living with severe dyslexia has taught me perseverance and the importance of never giving up. I am proud that my business has received recognition for excellent customer service and for supporting local people into work. Protecting Rochford North’s Green Spaces One of the biggest reasons I decided to stand is because I care deeply about protecting our green spaces, countryside, and the identity of our local communities. Residents across Rochford North are deeply concerned about overdevelopment, the loss of greenbelt land, increasing pressure on local infrastructure, traffic congestion, and the strain being placed on local services. I share those concerns wholeheartedly. Once our green spaces are gone, they are gone forever. I believe we must stand up against inappropriate development and fight to preserve the fields, open land, wildlife, and natural environment that make our area such a wonderful place to live. Future generations deserve to grow up enjoying the same beautiful surroundings that many of us have cherished for years. If elected, I will work tirelessly to oppose unnecessary building on greenbelt land and ensure local residents’ voices are heard loud and clear. Community Engagement I believe in being visible, approachable, and accessible. Over recent months I have spent countless hours out speaking directly with residents on their doorsteps, listening to concerns and discussing the issues that matter most locally. I want residents to know exactly who their representative is and feel comfortable contacting me whenever they need help or support. My Commitment to You If elected to Essex County Council, I will: Fight to protect our green spaces and greenbelt land Stand up for local residents and local communities Push for investment in infrastructure before overdevelopment Work hard to keep Rochford North a wonderful place to live Be accessible, visible, and accountable to residents I am passionate about serving the community and making a positive difference. Together, we can protect Rochford North and its future. Thank you for your support.
