Statement to voters
"I want to be a councillor because I have realised that the campaigning organisations that I have supported for many years – Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, even the RSPB! – cannot achieve much without political support in Westminster and local councils. It has also been wonderful to see the difference that a few Green voices can make when elected, and I would like to do the same."
