Statement to voters

Tony was born and raised in Leicester and has lived in the Mid-Leicestershire Constituency for the last 25 years with wife Joanne, bringing up their two daughters.  Tony qualified as a physiotherapist in 1992, working in both Glenfield Hospital and then Leicester General Hospital before gaining great experience working in New Orleans. He returned to Leicester in 1999 to raise a family, and continue work as a Private Practitioner, establishing Leicester Forest East Physiotherapy Clinic in 2001.  In 2023 he spearheaded a campaign that saw him elected as a District Councillor for Blaby. Additionally, Tony contributes to life in his home village of Kirby Muxloe by acting as a Trustee of the Library and Community Hub. Outside of work Tony is a longstanding season ticket holder at Leicester City. He and Joanne are keen cyclists or alternatively go out walking with their dog, Toffee.  Being virtually a lifetime resident of Leicester has given Tony an extensive understanding of the needs of Leicestershire. He says, "As a new County Councillor for Glenfields, Kirby Muxloe and Leicester Forests, I would dedicate my time to fighting for a future for Leicestershire that offers security, fairness, a better standard of living for residents and a better quality of life."
