Statement to voters

I was born, raised and have lived my whole life in the constituency and so I have my finger on the pulse of issues affecting the constituency. My desire for community cohesion and desire to help people and make a difference originated from many years of working for, and in the community in a voluntary capacity to help improve the lives of residents and make the community a better place to live. It is a vocation that has been complemented by a successful career as a professional fundraiser working for both national and local charities. The facts don’t lie and nor do I! Clearly removing the politics works, as 5 years ago I was given the immense honour of being elected as an Independent CWAC Councillor as a result of commitment to the local community and my simple promise of Community Not Politics. In the 2019 elections I came 1st out of 8 candidates and in 2023 was successfully re-elected coming 1st out of 7 candidates and polling more votes than any of the other Cheshire West and Chester Councillor. I work tirelessly for all the villages that I represent, morning, noon and night 7 days a week (even when on my honeymoon). I am very proactive and work at the heart of the communities that I represent with parish councils, civic trusts, churches, schools, community groups, and charities. My role as Councillor has enabled me to make a difference and with your support on Thursday 4 July, election to parliament would enable me to make even more of a difference to your life.
