Statement to voters

I am a self employed Artist and an experienced Political Activist. This is my second UK General Election, standing for Hackney South & Shoreditch. I have lived in Hackney on the Pembury Estate for nearly 22 years. I am a good neighbour and an active member of my local community. I have had numerous local voluntary roles, including several years planting and caring for local trees, a former Chair of my local park user group, and a volunteer at both Hackney City Farm and Core Arts mental health charity. From 2009 to 2015, I created a monthly photographic strip for the print edition of the free local paper, Hackney Citizen. I am a passionate advocate of an UNCONDITIONAL BASIC INCOME. My UBI street posters have featured online in numerous international articles on the topic. I also believe in SORTITION - replacing all career party politicians with a more diverse assortment of citizen representatives via lottery. And I believe that daily mainstream news and infotainment should take a responsible and active role in encouraging COMPASSION and KINDNESS as a foundation of political decision making and our day to day lives.
