Hugh Lanham

Statement to voters

Hugh Lanham is a Chartered Accountant who has worked in public practice for many years. He has also been heavily involved in finance as a director in a building society and in a range of roles within social housing. In recent years he has taken time off from this to enable him, and his wife Claire, to build their own house. He grew up in North Essex and progressively moved north arriving in Norfolk first at Docking in 2003 before settling in Great Ryburgh which offered opportunities for smallholding; a lifelong hobby. Hugh is author of the book 'Garden Farming'. Hugh has some political experience having briefly served on North Norfolk District Council. When other interests allow Hugh also sings and plays the flute.
