Statement to voters

Rachel has been the Moortown ward candidate since 2019, came 2nd place in the last local election in 2024 and is looking forward to standing again on May 7th 2026. Rachel set up the successful campaign group Healthy Air Leeds, and fundraised for the new play area as a committee member of the Meanwood Park Playground Appeal. Rachel is a long standing member of the local Litter Free Meanwood group and is a big supporter of the wonderful independent businesses we have in Meanwood and Moortown. “I am passionate about keeping Meanwood and Moortown clean and green, with safe, accessible transport and active travel routes for all.”
