Statement to voters

I am an elected borough councillor representing the 5 villages and 3 parish councils of Lothingland and have served as a councillor for 6 years. I was elected in 2019 as an independent. Although I am now a “one to one counsellor” I previously served in the Royal Navy, I worked in the child care sector for 17 years and ended my career as a foster carer. I am a single parent of two fine young boys, now grown men. I am standing as the Independent candidate Lothingland Division in the 2021 County Council elections. I believe the electorate should choose the candidate and not have one thrust upon them by a political selection panel. These panels are often motivated by internal political ideals, and not that of the electorate. I will be asking for your vote on May the 6th 2021 because I would like to carry on the work I do, which is representing the electorate, not a political party, at county level. I have supported many individuals not only in Lothingland by in Great Yarmouth and continue to do so.
