Statement to voters

I believe in democracy, and hope that I can represent as many of my Constituency of Ipswich as possible. At the moment we elect MPs with the hope that they will represent our views in Parliament. Although, currently when they get to Parliament, MPs are influenced by Party Leaders, Party donors and Lobbyists to vote in their favour on policies and legislation against the same people who voted for them to be in Parliament. The Student fees introduction/increase and the ending of Student Nurses bursary are good examples of MPs voting in majority against their local Constituencies and against their VOTERS' wishes. To fix this broken democracy, I, David Tabane will introduce a Constituency E-Voting system. For the first time in UK politics, my Constituency will have the right to have a say inside Parliament. Through this localised democratic system, all policies and legislation loaded inside Parliament to be discussed and voted by MPs, will also be loaded on local Constituency E-Voting system. This will allow and empower local Constituency of registered Voters, who Employ MPs, to have the right to discuss, decide and go on their PCs, Mobile phones, Library or local council public offices to vote on-line on how their MP should vote on any policy or legislation before MPs vote on it in Parliament. In my Campaign within Ipswich Constituency, my policy is 'Public engagement', 'Public engagement' and 'Public engagement' in policy and decision making by local governments and national government. For our Constituency of Ipswich, I will focus on Investment in preserving Ipswich historic building assets, Monuments and encouraging Tourism into Ipswich. This will guarantee ROI (Return On Investment) for any future investment into the town and surroundings. As I have worked in the public sector, Mental Health in NHS and Elderly Carehomes, I have seen and still see the effects of MPs voting credentials. I continue to experience the effects of lack of collaboration between NHS trusts and Local Councils, destroyed by politicians and legislation. In the worst case scenario, Carehomes are under staffed, staff is underpaid, staff go sick all the time and mostly tired due to understaffing, while people are looking for jobs which pay a decent rate to even consider going into care or Nursing. Doctors, Nurses, Carers, A&E are over stretched with work and Ordinary citizens find it hard to make ends meet. As your Ipswich Constituency Parliamentary Candidate, we have no choice as Ipswich Constituency but to stand together, against political Parties' and donor's vested interests against Ordinary citizens. With me as your Independent Parliamentary Employee, there will be less influence on me but more influence by my Constituency. And I will rubber-stamp this commitment by giving you a say in how I vote inside Parliament as I have said, through a tangible System that will hold me accountable to Vote in your favour at all times. By putting democracy into action rather than just in words as usual, we will put Ipswich Constituency and Ipswich Town on the national and Global Map as a Model for real democracy.
