Statement to voters

Hi! My name’s Ian Fox and I’m standing as an Independent Candidate on Thursday 8th June. My reasons for standing are simple: I’m against racism and intolerance in all its forms. I believe integrity in public office is essential. I want all those who currently feel voting is pointless to have a voice. I am asking every voter to put their normal political allegiances aside. I am asking you to come out and vote. Make sure Mr Vaz and all the other politicians get the message, loud and clear – don’t treat us like fools or take us for granted. In the end, the result in Leicester East isn’t about politics, it isn’t about race or religion, it’s a simple choice between right and wrong. I already know I am the winner because I am doing the right thing for the ones I love, my friends and my conscience. Join me and on June 8th we’ll win together.
