Statement to voters

Olivia Bailey is Labour's candidate for the general election in the new constituency of Reading West and Mid Berkshire. Olivia, who lives in the constituency with her young family, is committed to delivering more support for families and young people - with more teachers in local schools, free breakfast clubs for all primary school kids and much-needed improvements to childcare provision. As the daughter of a local policeman, Olivia is determined to get more police back on the beat and reverse the collapse in the number of crimes solved. She'll also work to get our NHS back on its feet with more appointments with local doctors and dentists. Speaking with voters across the constituency, Olivia has heard how fed up people are with this failing Conservative government. Mortgages have gone up. Our beautiful streams and rivers are full of sewage. It feels like nothing works in Britain anymore. Enough is enough. Elect Olivia locally and a Labour government nationally to deliver the fresh start Reading West and Mid Berkshire so desperately needs.
