Statement to voters

I am currently Ashford Borough Councillor for Willesborugh along with Cllr Liz Wright and on May 1st 2025 I will be standing for re-election to kent county council for the Ashford East division. I was born here, I grew up here, I live here and I work here. I remember when I was a kid the area was clean, fresh and colourful but now, with austerity measures affecting local services, it’s in danger of looking tired and grey. I’ve been instrumental in keeping the area looking nice, as a founding member of the local litter-picking group the Wombles of Willesborough and voluntarily sprucing up areas with plants in my spare time. I would be honoured to continue to represent my neighbourhood on the council, working to keep our area the colourful, beautiful place where I grew up, protecting the area from over-development and starting to prepare for the oncoming challenges of climate change. It’s time take back control of our environment. It’s time for something different, for a change.
