Statement to voters

North West Leicestershire Constituency Labour Party is pleased to announce, Dr Terri Eynon will be standing for us in the 2019 General Election. Dr Terri, as she was known by her patients, is a retired GP. She is also the County Councillor for Coalville North, District Councillor for Hugglescote St Mary’s and the current Labour Group Leader at County Hall. She is also a community activist, community radio presenter and volunteer reader at Coalville Library. Terri has a strong track record of campaigning. Working with colleagues at County and District, she called for both Councils to declare a Climate Emergency and, with her colleagues, is now following up on the policy changes both Councils need to make if this is to be more than warm words. Terri is committed to disability rights. She worked with the ‘Close the Loop’ campaign to challenge the gap in Special Educational Needs transport which leaves 16-18 year olds with an Education Health and Care Plan, that mandates them to go to school, with no reasonable means of getting there. Terri has a proven track record of commitment to this community and will be a breath of fresh air after Brexit-obsessed Bridgen. But only you can make this happen for NWLeics. Vote Labour on December 12th, Vote Dr Terri.
