Statement to voters

I have lived in Bury for nearly 20 years and retired from the University of Manchester in 2023 where I worked as a project manager on environmental sustainability projects. Prior to this, I taught adult numeracy at Bury Adult Education Centre for a number of years. My priorities include affordable housing, social care, improvements to the local environment including protecting green spaces and tackling air pollution in Bury. I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen again as the Green Party’s candidate for North Manor in the council elections on 7th May. I have the skills, time, experience and determination to make a difference in North Manor. I believe that, by listening to your issues, I can highlight what is important to you and I pledge to hold the Council to account and stand up for the all the local residents.
