Statement to voters
Sarah is very proud to have been selected as the Liberal Democrat Candidate for Stockton North in the General Election. This is a key time for our country and she is keen to get stuck in! Sarah was born in Nottingham and lived there until 2014. She is now based in Manchester where she works in Higher Education. She has previously sat as a councillor and served as mayor of her village. She enjoys meeting members of the public and trying to make the environment we live in a better one. In one walk to the shops, she reported 10 different issues to the council which all got fixed within 2 weeks! She is a keen knitter, loves swimming outdoors and enjoy attending her local Women’s Institute. Her policy priorities are health and social care. She is so pleased that the Liberal Democrats have pledged to put an extra £6bn into our NHS and will give mental health conditions the same status as physical health conditions giving them waiting time standards.
