Statement to voters

It is a huge honour to represent the people of Sheffield Hallam. Since being elected in 2019, I have done my best to represent our constituency and campaign on the issues you all care about, from tackling the climate and nature emergency and rebuilding our public services, to fighting for more support for people who experience miscarriage and ending the hostile environment in our immigration system. I have served as the Shadow Minister for Nature Water and Flooding and more recently as the Shadow Minister for Climate Change and Net-Zero. I am currently a Member of the Public Accounts Committee, helping hold the Government to account over how they spend public money. I also Chair the All Party Parliamentary Group on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Co-Chair the All Party Group on Migration.
